If it weren't for YouTube, I'd never have known about Mila. I've been through a lot of facial oils, and they haven't always been my favorite. But this winter, predictably, my face went bonkers when the heat came on, so I really felt I needed to give it another go. I balked at the price of this, but then I noticed they offer a much smaller "try size" along with a discount code you can use later, which basically erases the cost to try if you decide to purchase the regular sized version (and is such a smart way to reward people who want to try your brand). First of all, the little philter came so beautifully packaged in a bed of straw and a sprig of dried wildflower. This level of meticulous thoughtfulness is also mirrored in the formula, which contains not only a combination of beautiful and underrecognized cold-pressed oils but also a bevy of skin-supporting ingredients like a vitamin C derivative (ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate), antioxidant and well-aging bakuchiol, soothing calendula and bisabolol, and goodies that were new to me like spilanthes acmella flower (lifting and wrinkle softening), nettle leaf extract (acne/oil control and wound healing), annatto seed extract (antioxidant and vitamin E to synergize with the ATIP), and so much more. The texture is what I would call medium+ (lighter than olive but heavier than I would normally choose) and takes a little gentle patting (not rubbing!) to get well distributed (also great to mix with a moisturizer for a better spread), but once you get it on: wow. I can almost feel the skin on my face singing/resonating. That sounds like paid-marketing hyperbolic nonsense, but I mean it. I do plan to buy the full-size version once this sample runs out, which will honestly take a little while. Plus, investing in a small brand run by two real people who care about our planet and literally pour their hearts into their land, plants, product, and business model is worth it to me. Much gratitude to Kelly and Hamilton for breathing their dream into life and supporting so many others.

My skin and I fell in love with this oil, truly, madly, deeply. I cannot call this just an oil, it's a whole experience. This is my desert island pick if I had to choose one skincare product. It's viscous but sinks into the skin beautifully and leaves my skin glowing. I call it the "Mila Glow". It soothes my skin whenever I have a reaction and is the final step in my evening routine. I've tried to put this away so that I can try other oils but my routines feel incomplete without it. I don't think I've ever loved a skincare product this much but this will forever be a repurchase for me.

When I first got Mila, my skin was so brand new to any kind of oil that I needed to work slowly. I was in love with the way it felt so I stayed patient, and got through my first bottle. Finally, I’m now able to use everyday.

Since adding it to my everyday routine, I can tell a noticeable difference in my skin’s overall texture and moisture level. Where I felt some of the moisturizers I had been using either sat on the surface of my face or became chalky, Mila absorbs into the skin seamlessly. I now use it before makeup everyday because I have hyper dry skin and it can’t get enough oil or moisture!

The story behind Mila, the transparency, and the thoughtfulness that goes into the product adds to the overall experience and quality. I would go as far as to say it’s unmatched in that regard- I feel like it’s an unknown gem that just hasn’t found it’s way into the hands of Gwyneth yet. I’ve even gifted it to a friend!

Almost 1 year of use later (and only 1.5 bottles in I might add) & the Clarity Oil is a staple in my routine, and she's not going anywhere.
My skin is dry year round and prone to seasonal eczema flares; I hop on any skincare product that will bring me hydration and make my skin less scaly so naturally this product is my jam.

I use this morning and night as the last step, or even mixing it in, with my moisturizer. It keeps my skin looking and feeling bouncy and supple always.
A summer eczema flare manifested on the corners of my eyelids, of all places, and I spot treated the redness with Mila along with my prescription ointment to keep it at bay. I'll occasionally put on a full face with foundation and this product works great to mix a lil in to make the application look super fresh.

I recommend to all of my scaly folks and otherwise, I'm codependent at this point.

This oil leaves my skin feeling moisturized without feeling greasy. It immediately gets absorbed and leaves my skin feeling healthy. So glad I found it! Love that it is all natural too!
